AI Avatar Assistance.
A 3D AI companion with expressive emotions, streamed conversations and human-controlled actions.
What Should We Work On?
Awaiting approvalExplore the original avatar’s expressions independently from the sample task. In the desktop app, an active task controls the live expression. This portfolio demo does not connect to an AI runtime.
A Visible State
Thinking, working and awaiting approval mean different things. The interface makes that distinction clear.
Human Control
Approval prompts and cancellation remain part of the task flow.
An Outcome Check
A completed response is followed by a question about whether the task was accomplished.
The Idea Behind It
An agent should make it easy to see whether it is thinking, working, waiting for permission or finished. The desktop companion brings conversation, task state and an explicit outcome check into one place.
Features Built
- Preview Live, Curious, Focused, Upset and Sleepy avatar expressions.
- Stream a conversation from a supervised local agent runtime.
- Show task progress and request approval before privileged actions.
- Support cancellation, outcome feedback and personalised avatar appearance.
Impact & Evidence.
Measurement planMeasure Completed Work, Not Messages.
The source supports outcome feedback. A measured before/after productivity study was not found.
- Completion
- Confirmed successful tasks ÷ completed tasks.
- Hands-on time
- Compare active user minutes for equivalent tasks.
- Rework
- Record corrections and blocked tasks alongside completion.
Why It
Matters.
A visible task lifecycle helps the user follow the work and intervene at the point where a decision is needed.

Adapted from the original desktop ConversationPanel, avatar renderer and emotion picker. The 3D geometry and expression settings follow the source implementation; the conversation is a scripted portfolio demonstration. The desktop application is a developer beta. This demo has no AI runtime connection and makes no public-release or measured productivity claim.
